Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance public health and environmental sustainability by addressing critical challenges in water quality, wastewater management, and sanitation. We aim to:
1. Conduct research and publish findings to inform policymakers, scientists, industry stakeholders, and society.
2. Provide evidence-based solutions to address water pollution and its health impacts, ensuring their practical evaluation and implementation.
3. Actively contribute to strengthening national health system policies concerning water pollution and related areas through scientific evidence and advocacy.
4. Develop tools, applications, and software to support water and sanitation (WASH) initiatives and enhance accessibility and effectiveness.
5. Cultivate human resources by fostering researchers skilled in modern science and technology while adapting and applying localized innovations.
6. Monitor and mitigate health risks associated with chemical and microbial contaminants in water sources.
7. Develop guidelines and tools to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) at household, school, and healthcare facility levels.
8. Advance water reuse strategies within the circular economy framework while addressing associated health risks.
9. Assess the short-term and long-term impacts of climate change on water quantity, quality, and food security.
10. Expand interdisciplinary, regional, and international collaborations with institutions and organizations to achieve shared goals.
11. Monitor water consumption patterns and provide community-focused solutions through public education to reduce water footprints.
